222 mg Fenbendazole (per capsule), magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, citric acid
Fenbendazole was first developed in the 1970s as a broad-spectrum anti-parasitic medication belonging to the benzimidazole family, which also includes drugs such as mebendazole and albendazole. It has been widely used in veterinary medicine for decades to treat a variety of parasitic worm infections in animals, including roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and certain tapeworms. Due to its long history of use in animals, fenbendazole has been extensively studied for its safety, absorption, and biological activity.
In recent years, fenbendazole has attracted growing attention from researchers for its potential anti-cancer properties. Early laboratory and preclinical studies suggest that fenbendazole may interfere with microtubules within cancer cells, structures that are essential for cell division and survival. By disrupting these processes, researchers have observed slowed tumor growth and increased cancer cell death in certain experimental models. Additional studies have suggested that fenbendazole may also influence how cancer cells utilize glucose and energy, potentially placing metabolic stress on rapidly growing tumors.
